Encouraging children to enjoy and seek out learning is the idea underlying the association’s name: Amasco, “to begin to love”. The association sets up fun and educational five-day workshops for children aged 4 to 13, during school holidays. The workshops are led by multidisciplinary teams made up of education and activities specialists whose experience levels range from novice to expert. They are based on a low student-teacher ratio (no more than 25 children, 5 children per counsellor) and focus on a common theme across all sites (sustainable development, cooperative art, etc.).
The Societe Generale Corporate Foundation is supporting the overall growth of the association, whose goal is to strengthen its connections with the families of the participants in 2022 in the 30 cities where it is present (Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Grand Est and Centre-Val de Loire)
