Terres en Mêlées

Petite fille tient un ballon de rugby

Created in 2010, Terres en Mêlées is today the first network of African associations engaged in development education through rugby. Its mission is to support the African sports and educational community to use the oval ball to nurture future champions of sustainable development on the continent. Terres en Mêlées is present in four African countries: Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and Togo and aims to become in 2021 the spearhead of educational innovation through rugby through the creation of Terres en Mêlées Académies, structures dedicated to educational innovation through rugby in favour of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As a priority partner of the Societe Generale Foundation's Africa Program, we have been supporting the association in its development since 2017.
