Proxité

Since 2003, Proxité has been supporting young people aged 12 to 25 from disadvantaged neighborhoods and territories in their academic success, career guidance, and professional integration. The association offers individual and group support during out-of-school hours, which includes:

  • Mentoring: Each young person benefits from individual mentoring provided by a trained and equipped volunteer who is actively employed. This is a year-long commitment, renewable annually.
  • Thematic workshops: Led by volunteers or Proxité teams, these sessions help young people work on career guidance, build their professional projects, develop soft skills, or strengthen their knowledge in certain subjects.

The Société Générale Corporate Foundation supports Proxité in strengthening its support for students in vocational high schools. The project aims to prevent school dropout among these students and help them build their professional plans by developing a tailor-made program that includes individual mentoring, group activities (such as company visits and networking events), and socio-professional workshops designed to enhance both technical and soft skills.
