The mission of the Kodiko association is to provide employment support for people who have obtained refugee status or subsidiary protection in France fewer than four years ago. The association offers beneficiaries a collective and individualized support programme, over a period of six months that can be repeated once. This support takes the form of working in pairs with a volunteer professional and attending job search assistance workshops.
The Societe Generale Corporate Foundation is supporting the deployment of the association’s activities. It wants to support 1,000 pairs over three years at its four existing branches (in Paris, Tours, Strasbourg and Rennes). From 2022, it will begin spreading its support programme to more regions through a social franchise model in three large French urban areas: Grenoble, Lyon and Bordeaux. The social franchise model will make its know-how and teaching available to social entrepreneurs.
