ENQUÊTE

The ENQUÊTE association works to design resources to educate children about secularism, based on religious teachings. ENQUÊTE has three objectives: to ease possible tensions; to help children develop a reflective relationship with religion, in particular through critical thinking; and to encourage them to adhere to secularism.

The Foundation supports the “Challenge Tree” game project, which was designed in line with the Cycle 3 programmes. These are weekly workshops that allow us to address: the difference between knowledge and belief, the plurality of convictions, vocabulary issues, etc. Each session is based on games, always linked to fundamental learning, which allow the children to express themselves and the teacher or facilitator to encourage them to question their interpretations and explanations.

The deployment of this pedagogical approach is offered in the academies of Créteil, Paris and Versailles.
