Ecolhuma
The mission of the association Ecolhuma (formerly SynLab), created in 2012, is to support teachers and school leaders to enable the success of all students in France. The aim is to improve pedagogical practices on a large scale, which is the best way to fight against educational inequalities. The association runs various programmes, including ÊtrePROF.fr, a professional development platform by and for teachers.
The Foundation supports the Voies d'Avenir programme for the academic success of vocational high school students, who are still too often considered to be on the "sidelines". Only 41% of young graduates of vocational courses are in employment 6 months after completing their studies. Voies d'Avenir aims to ensure that vocational high school students complete their schooling and obtain their diploma, by involving the various stakeholders: teachers, schools and companies.
