Ecolhuma
Ecolhuma was born from a strong conviction: to reduce the inequalities that divide our society, we must act where everything begins—at school. Since 2012, Ecolhuma’s mission has been to support teachers and school leaders so they can give every student the best chance to succeed through three main actions:
- Supporting teachers via the EtreProf platform, which offers tools, training programs, and opportunities for exchange to help them in their professional lives.
- Supporting school leaders via the Manag’Educ platform, which provides resources and spaces for discussion on the daily challenges faced by management staff.
- Supporting schools by strengthening team dynamics through programs such as Établissement. This program aims to assist teaching and leadership teams in developing students’ socio-emotional skills and promoting their well-being, as well as that of teachers.
The Société Générale Corporate Foundation supports the association through a project aimed at developing psychosocial skills (PSS) at every stage of schooling to prevent the worsening of inequalities and foster the well-being of every student. This project is structured around three objectives :
Massively train teachers to cultivate students’ emotional and social skills from preschool onward, providing the necessary tools to integrate these skills into their teaching practices.
Leverage the power of collective action to ensure students’ well-being by promoting a culture of cooperation among teachers, teaching teams, and school leaders.
- Transform the education system by advocating for the integration of psychosocial skills into public policies, on par with academic skills, to create a school that prepares students to succeed both professionally and socially.
