SOS Children's Villages welcomes and reunites siblings separated from their parents by court order, and offers them the opportunity to grow up in a stable emotional and educational environment. The charity also helps young people of legal age from its programmes to become self-sufficient and find employment. Finally, it works with at-risk families to prevent children’s placement in foster care. In France, the charity runs 17 villages, each home to around 50 children in eight regions of France. It also supports 46 children's villages across 22 countries.

The Societe Generale The Future is You Foundation supports PEPS, a programme for personal development through sport which aims to give young people the opportunity to achieve their full potential and to play an active role in their success through sport. The project is structured around three activities:

  • Group sport workshops for 48 young people (ages 12-18). These week-long trips are organised three times a year, allowing each child to progress within the same chosen discipline. Each discipline focuses on the development of specific characteristics and skills.
  • Individual support for 14 young people with specific problems that cannot be resolved in a group setting. The aim is to create a bond of trust with them and help them express their problems.
  • Two community-building events: the VESOS Trophy for 126 young people from all the SOS establishments in France, and the VESOS CIDE (International Convention on the Rights of the Child), a sports day dedicated to children's rights at each establishment.
