Apprentis d’Auteuil
Recognized as a public-interest foundation, Apprentis d’Auteuil has been committed to supporting vulnerable young people and families for nearly 160 years.
Apprentis d’Auteuil addresses social issues through four main missions:
- Child protection
- Training and socio-professional integration
- Family support
- Opening to the world
The foundation supports nearly 40,000 young people and 8,000 vulnerable families each year. It welcomes, educates, and trains young people in difficulty to help them integrate into society and assists families in their educational role. For over 30 years, Apprentis d’Auteuil has also expanded internationally to restore what vulnerable youth and families need most: confidence.
A long-standing partner of Apprentis d’Auteuil, the Société Générale Corporate Foundation has supported since 2024 the PHARE program – Holistic Support Project for the Reintegration and Education of Vulnerable Youth – which aims to guide vulnerable young people in several African countries toward schooling or training in a safe environment for sustainable integration. The project has several objectives:
- Facilitate access to holistic support pathways for the most vulnerable girls and boys so they can build their life project (outreach, awareness, removal of peripheral barriers, access to a healthy learning environment).
- Ensure quality education and sustainable professional integration for every young person.
- Strengthen the capacities of professionals to guarantee quality and sustainability of practices through two initiatives: Digital Notebooks (online training, collaborative platform, and e-learning) and the Community of Practices and Knowledge (CPS), a space for sharing practices and producing knowledge and tools.
