Les Entretiens de l’Excellence, an association approved by the Ministry of National Education, aims to promote equal opportunities and fight against the lack of information and self-censorship of young secondary school students from disadvantaged backgrounds. It encourages high school students from REP or rural areas to move into selective streams through a three-year tutoring system from second to final.
The Societe Generale The Future is You Foundation supports this charity's geographical roll-out to cover the 40 cities featuring more than 100,000 inhabitants with its tours (35 cities currently covered). The Foundation funds the Excellence class launched in Marseilles last year (by the Lycée Perrier in Marseille).
