Pas à Pas, l'Enfant

Pas à Pas, l’Enfant works to support the development of children under the age of 6 living in priority neighborhoods, aiming to change daily habits toward fewer screens and more shared activities between parents and children. To achieve this, the association builds programs based on three levers:

  • Supporting families so they reclaim simple, accessible, hands-on activities that deeply foster child development: telling stories and playing.
  • Training professionals in nurseries, after‑school programs, social centers, and childminders on the power of these activities and the effects of screen exposure. Once equipped, these professionals become key partners in helping families make lasting changes in their daily habits.
  • Strengthening interpersonal connections between parents and the professionals who support the child, creating a shared dynamic that nurtures healthy development.

The Société Générale Corporate Foundation supports the association’s scaling efforts.
In 2024, Pas à Pas, l’Enfant supported nearly 7,500 parents, professionals, and children. The goal is to reach 30,000 beneficiaries within the next three years, through expansion across Cités Éducatives in Île‑de‑France and other regions.
