Coup de pouce

The purpose of Coup de Pouce is to promote academic success for all children, regardless of their socioeconomic background. The mission of Coup de Pouce is the early prevention of school dropout during the first years of schooling—the years when fundamental skills are acquired, when a child’s confidence develops, and when learning takes on meaning and the joy of words, reading, and mathematics emerges.

Coup de Pouce therefore designs, in collaboration with education researchers, peri- and extracurricular programs from preschool to the early years of elementary school, based on play and strengthening the school-family relationship.

The Société Générale Corporate Foundation supports Coup de Pouce’s work in preschool through its two programs: “Imaginer et Parler” (middle section) and “Langage” (upper section).
