The Fédération Nationale des Ecoles de Production represents the network of private, non-profit technical education institutions recognized by the French government and known as “Écoles de Production.”

Production Schools help facilitate the professional integration of young people, starting at age 15, who lack qualifications. Under school status, they provide general education as well as technological and vocational training leading to a CAP diploma or a Professional Baccalaureate. They implement an adapted pedagogy based on real-life production situations — Learning by Doing.

The National Fed

eration of Production Schools brings together 67 Production Schools. Its mission is to represent its members, promote the Production School model, support their creation, development, and funding, define and award the “École de Production” label, support and advise project leaders and member schools, and animate the network (experience sharing, staff training, identification of new training needs, experimentation, etc.).

The Société Générale Corporate Foundation supports the outreach and development of Production Schools and contributes to:

  • The training of professional instructors, who pass on technical know‑how to Production School students.
  • The professional integration of young people — particularly the most vulnerable — into sectors facing labor shortages, including woodwork, landscaping, and market gardening.
  • Increasing the attractiveness of these three sectors by supporting targeted communication about the careers offered by the 13 Production Schools present across 11 departments.
  • The development of new Production Schools, particularly in these three sectors.
