In partnership with the Louvre, the Sorbonne and the Ambronay Cultural Meeting Center, Sébastien Daucé and Saskia De Ville will co-host an online training course on 17th century French music, open to all.

On the program: one to two hours of lessons per week for seven weeks, transporting participants to places where French music resonated in the 17th century. No prerequisites are necessary and you can test your knowledge every week via interactive quizzes! This training will allow you to immerse yourself in one of the most abundant artistic periods of French history, notably covering the reign of Louis XIV, and to better understand French baroque music and its specificities using listening keys.
