Emmaüs Alternatives

The Emmaus Alternatives association aims to support, integrate and empower the most disadvantaged groups. The association combines social and socio-professional integration activities and offers a variety of services: day care, RSA (work welfare benefit) instruction and referral system, social reintegration accommodation centre, food bank, workshops and integration projects.

The Foundation supports the Déclic Projet Professionnel programme, which is aimed at young people in the care of the Aide Sociale à l’Enfance (ASE) (children’s social welfare agency) in the Val-de-Marne and Seine-Saint-Denis regions and aims to ensure their sustainable integration. Each participant receives professional and psychosocial support in a collective setting, with a pathway that is both shared and personalised. The courses include thematic workshops and socio-professional immersion. Young people are accompanied on average for six months.
