DesCodeuses

DesCodeuses, an accredited training organisation since August 2019, has created tailor-made courses for women from disadvantaged neighbourhoods. The aim is to address the lack of opportunities in the digital sector that take into account peripheral barriers, access to training and technical jobs for these women.

The pathways are focused on three types of action to enable a return to sustainable employment:

  • Detection (getting back on track)
  • Pre-qualification (refresher course)
  • Insertion (training)

The Foundation supports the scaling up and national expansion of the association in order to bring its solution to two regions that are heavily affected by unemployment among women from working-class neighbourhoods and where companies are recruiting for tech-based jobs: Lille and Marseille.
