DAHLIR aims to promote the long-term social inclusion of at-risk individuals in society. It uses sport and leisure activities to help children, young people and adults who are disabled, isolated or excluded to take part in a physical and/or leisure activity of their choice in order to empower them. This charity is active across the region with nine departmental locations in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

The Societe Generale The Future is You Foundation supports the charity's programme aimed at mobilising and guiding young people who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEETs) towards public initiatives to help them find work and practise sports (mainly in clubs). DAHLIR has observed in the field (in Gap) that it is difficult to make this support available to young people who have lost their way and whose careers have been disrupted. Through this project, the charity seeks to create and model a programme involving the local charity and public-sector ecosystem in order to capitalise on existing support and assistance schemes. It organises so-called “transitional” workshops (five sports sessions) to identify the most disadvantaged individuals and provide them with tailored support to help them take up a physical activity, and then rolls out a job placement scheme.
