AIDA - Agence Iséroise de Diffusion Artistique

Created in 2004, AIDA, the Agence Iséroise de Diffusion Artistique or Isère Artistic Distribution Agency, bears witness to the cultural and musical energy of Isère, a department which covers urban areas as well as remote rural and mountain communities. Directed since 2009 by Bruno Messina, AIDA is the force behind cultural actions such as the Hector Berlioz European Youth Orchestra - Isère, À Travers Chants, Maison Messiaen and Les Allées Chantent. It also manages the Messiaen Festival, the Berlioz Festival and the Messiaen Competition.

Les Allées Chantent offers some 80 free concerts every year. Small in size, these concerts mainly embrace classical music. Since its inception in 2012, 70 Isère municipalities have benefited from it.

Since 2016, the Maison Messiaen has been a residence for artists, poets and ornithologists. At the request of the Olivier Messiaen Foundation, AIDA has developed an artistic project for the composer’s house.

The Hector Berlioz European Youth Orchestra - Isère is a place of professional integration for young musicians from National Conservatories, Centres of Higher Education in Artistic Studies and high-level European schools.

À Travers Chants is a choral singing training programme for children attending school in areas far from any cultural offering. In 2019, 414 children aged 8 to 12 benefited from some 337 hours of training.

We have been supporting AIDA since 2021.
